The origin

Silk does one thing exceptionally well: it reduces friction. The smooth weave minimises mechanical stress on skin and hair while you move during sleep. We kept the silk exactly where it needed to be — 22 momme, 6A grade mulberry, the highest classification available.
Between washes, oils, bacteria, and cellular debris accumulate in the fabric. You wash your face at night, apply your products carefully — and then press that clean face into a surface that's been building up for days. The pillowcase becomes the variable undoing the work you put in.
Silver's antimicrobial mechanism is well-documented — used in medical-grade wound dressings specifically because it inhibits microbial growth. slvr infuses it into the silk at a fibre level.
